'A single polyp on the verge of bursting and releasing its spores'
The Art of TerraLiving - Our artists' impression of the "Fruiting Body - ⍺" for our future "Microcosm" series.
Inspired by the growth patterns of different organisms up to molecular level, our "Simulated Growth" design language intends to capture the simple yet beautiful essence and beauty of these natural phenomena.
We can explore this idea using cutting-edge computational methods capable of generating complex shapes from algorithmic processes - what could be called a synthetic approach to creating life forms in the future.
Our goal is to make it possible for us to use this nature-inspired dynamic process to create structurally sound designs that are also visually attractive. With recent advances in 3D printing technology and other advanced material research, we cannot wait to see what the future of our botanical art has in store for us.
