Our live mosses contribute to the entire line of "Living Art" series. The time, feelings, and thoughts put into creating those Living Arts can only be captured digitally.
Tending to live moss is a calming and continuous process. Like any living thing, they will perish and wilt if not well-taken care of.
The three main factors, sufficient lighting, temperature below 25℃, and consistent humidity, are crucial to upkeeping live mosses, in addition to more challenging atmospheric pressure control and air velocity.
Thus, at the same time, we worked on creating ZERO Moss (the variant of preserved moss from TerraLiving's Lab) to express our art & intention better, then encapsulate them within unique glass vessels to share with our fans and collectors across the world.
🌳 Our ZERO Mosses were cultivated in the greenhouse till their peak health, expected growth stages then sent into our lab for freeze-drying and preservation.
🌱 They look fresh, soft to touch, and lively but biologically inactive. Technically, they are NON-LIVING and won't produce fog. They are 100% real plant and moss, though.
🔬 This is how some scientists store plants in herbarium or “plant museums” for decades. We modified the method with our proprietary technology so that the moss looks refreshing for our art pieces.
🚱 ZERO Moss is intended for sculptural and display grade. NO MAINTENANCE is needed except for general wiping for a better view.
