How mosses react when we press on them?

#pressthemoss We are doing it for science, and, dear owners of our ZERO moss, botanical arts, and terrariums, please DON'T intentionally do this.

This video demonstrates how a perfectly preserved fluffy moss specimen housed within "Dot. Moss" reacts under mechanical forces.

Our moss specimens are professionally treated and preserved for long-term display, retaining their original fluffiness & flexibility when you receive them. They are meant to withstand unexpected mechanical stress for an extended period during transportation across the globe.

Sometimes, it might take a little bit for them to go back to being their original selves - but with patience and a little extra time, everything will turn out just fine in the end!

Even if they do become slightly flattened, you can pop them back up again using a plastic or glass stick.
