How we make a living Tree Moss terrarium, The Aurora by TerraLiving

Take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy watching how we make a house or microhabitat known as "The Aurora" for Tree Moss.

"The Aurora" is a live moss terrarium with fog by TerraLiving, captured digitally for your viewing pleasure.

Some highlighted facts about this experiment:

Tree Moss doesn't usually grow further when they reach maturity. Here, we aim to promote the growth of new off-shoots from its "roots" or, scientifically, rhizoids.

Matured Tree Moss usually lasts for a few months before turning brown as new off-shoots start taking over.

Any dead organic materials such as woods need to undergo treatment like autoclaving to "petrify" them in minimizing mold growth in a high humidity environment.

We usually wear gloves to prevent contaminating the moss with unknown chemicals such as soap or hand sanitizers.

This experiment aims to study the different growth stages of Tree Moss. The data will then be used for our future ZERO Moss designs such as "The Colony - X."

**Important note: This is a behind-the-scenes reference for our live moss experiment. It is NOT applicable for any of our official ZERO Series releases. It would be best not to pump fog into any of your ZERO Moss collection or risk damaging all the preservatives and deteriorating moss's longevity.
